Clinical Experience

Katie has worked in the mental wellbeing field since 2004. She has experience working with adults and adolescents in a variety of settings including private practice, NHS, local authority and the charity sector.

Katie has considerable experience working with abuse, trauma, complex PTSD and is a trauma informed specialist therapist. She also has extensive experience working with ADHD, ASD (neurodiversity), OCD, anxiety, bereavement, pregnancy and loss, chronic health conditions and career concerns. Katie has designed and facilitated groups for: anxiety, stress management, bereavement and mindfulness.

Prior to becoming a therapist Katie worked in local authority children and family services, supporting people, managing services and delivering training for professionals in education, health and social work.

Qualifications & Training

Katie holds an MA in Integrative Arts Psychotherapy, BA (hons) childhood studies, Postgraduate Cert Emotional Wellbeing, Cert Counselling, Breathwork Practitioner in training. She has additional training in Trauma, Anxiety and Stress Reduction, Reducing Workplace Stress, Breathwork, Inner Child Healing, Somatic Release, Safeguarding, Narcissistic Behaviour, Neglect and Relational Trauma.

Katie holds professional recognition and accreditation with the UK’s recognised governing bodies: HCPC, BAAT.

Katie’s Fees

£130 per Individual Therapy session

Fees are charged on a per session basis.
a standard session lasts 50 minutes.

Paying via Insurance

Katie is a registered provider of counselling and psychotherapy for Healthcare Insurance companies including: Allianz & BUPA Global (not BUPA UK).
